"I use the Enneagram as a base for life change because it de-mystifies self-knowledge in a language you speak, once and for all." - Coach Jackie

The Enneagram is a powerful and dynamic personality system that describes 9 core motivations and offers deep insights into human behavior and patterns. It's a system that helps us understand ourselves, in a language we speak and in a way that is digestible, but somehow still specific.

The Enneagram is made up of nine distinct personality types. typed by our motivations, desires, fears, and how we deal with them. Each type has its own unique set of traits, desires, fears, and tendencies.

When it comes to these desires and reaching them, fears and avoiding them, and tendencies and living them out, we operate mechanically to a degree. Without being able to specifically point to our motives, we contribute to the largest part of the problem:
that we think we know who we are and how we operate.

But we know very little — we know the surface.

(Plus, those questions you've been asking?...
Who am I? What am I doing here? Why am I like this? Why did I do that, again? How do I keep falling into this same pattern? Why doesn't it stick when I try to change?
Those are age old questions and you've got motives driving your behaviors.)

Understanding your Enneagram type can provide you with a roadmap to self-knowledge on a deeper level that makes living the life you want closer than ever and sustainable-- so it's here to stay.

9 Personality Types
27 Subtypes

One you.
Let's get down to it.

  • While other systems focus on characteristics, the Enneagram is a nuanced system that explores the motivation, the reason, the “why” behind those behaviors and characteristics. Our motivations do not change, unlike the habits that they cause us to develop.

  • The Enneagram delves into the driving forces behind our behavior and helps us understand why we think, feel, and act the way we do — in a language you speak and understand.

  • Because the Enneagram provides a framework for digestible, yet very specific self-reflection, the practical applications in life, love, personal development, career, conflict resolution, etc. are endless

“As someone who has been learning about the enneagram for a couple of years, I took away lots of new key insights about myself! Jackie is upbeat, positive, and passionate about seeing people get ‘unstuck’ and reaching their fullest potential.”
— Gisselle, Enneagram 8

Enneagram FAQ

  • The Enneagram is a blank slate and is found throughout history in both spiritual and non-spiritual practices.

It is “spiritual” in the sense that it is life-changing, but it is not rooted in a specific spiritual or religious practice.

Table for 9 Coaching uses a person-first, non spiritual, psychology-based approach to understanding the 9 personality types so that the ground is neutral.

Once we’ve established your personality type and values, we can go from there and make it yours, however you want.

  • No, you can only be one type and that does not change — it is based on your core fears & motivations.

However, at different times, we can borrow inspiration from other types, act like them under stress or when healthy, or sometimes have type-lookalikes (or mistypes because of subtypes — that’s why we don’t test online!)

As we use the Enneagram to grow, our motivations do not change — rather they get managed, or go unmanaged. But our type never changes. Humans are just dynamic, complex, and multi-dimensional. That’s all!

  • NO! There are no good or bad or better or preferable numbers. Every number has its strengths and weaknesses to it. If you find yourself doing an internal eye-roll when you hear someone’s number and it’s one you don’t like, there may be a deeper reason for that. We can help with that ;).

  • Even paid online tests and the best of them are about 80% accurate. Coach Jackie - when taking online tests to find her type - mistyped TWICE this way!

We always recommend by hearing - a workshop or seminar - or working with a coach. I do not recommend self typing.

  • We believe that you are born with your type, you are who you are - it is unique and just right. However, life, trauma, predispositions — things get in the way and your natural instincts kick in to protect you so you can “survive” and we stray away from who we were meant to be. Genetics loads the gun, environment pulls the trigger. Things like that.

TLDR; you are you, always have been, always will be, always meant to be. but how you grew up bends you to handle life one way or another.
